Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) voted for three appropriations bills for Fiscal Year 2025, aimed at strengthening national security and securing borders. The bills are H.R. 8752 for Homeland Security, H.R. 8771 for State and Foreign Operations, and H.R. 8774 for Defense. They passed the House with close votes.

“These bills support our nation’s security and address the Biden administration’s failed policies,” Tenney said. “They focus on fiscal responsibility, countering the fentanyl crisis, supporting allies, securing borders, and addressing the migrant crisis.”

The bills include funding for Civil Air Patrol, Navy’s Columbia Class Submarine, FEMA grants, and the Great Lakes Fishery Commission. They also defund several Biden administration initiatives and officials’ salaries. Tenney aims to pass all 12 appropriations bills this year.
