Geneva woman arrested for DWI and driving with suspended license

On June 24, around 2 a.m., Geneva police stopped a car on E. North Street for not having a front license plate. Sgt. Nickolas Shannon suspected the driver, Bridgette Caroline Reyes, 23, of being intoxicated.

After failing field sobriety tests, Reyes was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. Her blood alcohol content was found to be .11%. Police also discovered her license was suspended.

Reyes faces several charges, including DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation, and open container violations. She was given traffic tickets and must appear in Geneva City Criminal Court at a later date.
