Livingston County Appoints Megan Crowe as New Planning Director

The Livingston County Board of Supervisors has approved Megan Crowe as the new Director of Planning, effective June 30, 2024. Crowe, who has served as Deputy Planning Director, will take over from Angela Ellis, who is retiring after 23 years.

County Administrator Ian M. Coyle praised Crowe’s contributions, noting her expertise in broadband, housing, and infrastructure. “Megan Crowe’s promotion reflects her exceptional skills and dedication. We are confident she will continue to drive positive change in Livingston County,” Coyle said.

Crowe expressed her gratitude for the promotion and is excited to continue her work in Livingston County. She has over a decade of planning experience, including roles in Wilmington and Pender County, N.C. Crowe holds degrees from SUNY Cortland and the University of North Carolina Wilmington and is certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners.
