Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) has introduced the More Opportunities for Moms to Succeed (MOMS) Act, alongside Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach (MN-07), to provide vital support to new and expecting mothers.

The bill, co-sponsored by Representatives Diana Harshbarger (TN-01), Ashley Hinson (IA-02), and Doug Lamborn (CO-05), aims to offer resources for women during and after pregnancy. Tenney emphasized the importance of supporting pregnant women to choose life and ensure healthy pregnancies.

The MOMS Act mandates states to enforce child support responsibilities from conception, supports adoption processes, and provides health and education services for mothers and babies. Fischbach noted the bill’s goal to empower women with the necessary resources to confidently raise their children.
