A Geneva man was arrested for bringing dangerous contraband into the Ontario County Jail.
On June 24, Jonathan Clausell-Herrera, 40, was taken into custody at the jail for promoting prison contraband in the first degree. An investigation by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office revealed that Clausell-Herrera introduced fentanyl, cocaine, and two syringes into the jail on May 3.
Clausell-Herrera, already incarcerated, faces two charges: one for the drugs and one for the syringes. He will appear before the Ontario County Central Arraignment Process.
