Empire State Development to Host Funding Information Session in Seneca County

Governor Kathy Hochul’s office has announced Round XIV of the Regional Economic Development Council (REDC) Initiative, which offers $150 million in grant funds from Empire State Development (ESD) for various projects.

The Finger Lakes Regional Economic Development Council aims to support projects in four main areas: Industry Growth, Built Environment, Workforce Development, and Quality of Life. This year, there is up to $10 million for the Small Manufacturer Modernization Program and up to $40 million for the Capital Improvement Grants for Pro-Housing Communities Program.

To provide details on available funding, the Finger Lakes Region’s ESD office will partner with the Seneca County Industrial Development Agency for an in-person Consolidated Funding Application (CFA) information session on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 9:00 AM. The session will be held at the Seneca County IDA offices, 2456 NY-414, Waterloo, NY, and will include a Q&A. Registration is encouraged but not required. More information is available on the Regional Council website.
