Deputies say a Wayne County man was taken into custody after an incident over the weekend.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of Nickolas Yackiw, 66, following a domestic incident late Sunday night.
Deputies allege that Yackiw placed his hands around the victim’s neck, shoved him against a wall, and struck him in the face. Yackiw was charged with second-degree harassment.
He was taken to the Wayne County Jail and awaits arraignment. Yackiw is scheduled to appear in the Town of Walworth Court at a later date.
