Storm Causes Power Outages and Flooding in Ontario County

Heavy rain and lightning Wednesday night have left hundreds without power in Ontario County.

The storms caused water to rise in the creek at Onanda Park in Canandaigua, flooding streets off West Lake Road around 10 p.m.


RG&E reported that 1,023 customers were without power as of 5 a.m. Thursday, with over 800 outages in Farmington, and additional outages in Canandaigua and Manchester.
