Seneca Falls police say a Clyde woman was taken into custody after not appearing in court as required.
Rebecca A. Mayo, 41, of Clyde, was arrested by the Seneca Falls Police Department on a bench warrant after failing to appear in court for a petit larceny charge.
Mayo was initially charged with petit larceny for stealing from a local business and was released on an appearance ticket. When she did not show up for her court date, a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Mayo was taken to the Seneca County Jail for arraignment, with assistance from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
