Williamson man arrested for obstruction after refusing to cooperate during domestic investigation

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Jimmy Gabriel, 34, of Williamson for obstructing governmental administration. The arrest followed an investigation into a domestic incident that occurred on June 13.

Deputies reported that on June 14, Gabriel refused to identify himself to uniformed officers during their investigation. He was subsequently arrested and taken to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing.

Gabriel was then transported to Wayne County Jail for fingerprints and photos. He is scheduled to return to the Town of Williamson court on July 3 for arraignment.
