Two men from Geneva have pleaded guilty in connection with a shooting and stabbing outside Harley’s Pub in Auburn last November. Angelo L. Diaz III, 27, admitted to second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Matthew Williams-McIntyre, 27, pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

According to the Cayuga County District Attorney’s Office, both men will be sentenced on August 22. Diaz faces 10 years in prison followed by five years of post-release supervision for each charge, served concurrently. Williams-McIntyre is expected to receive 4.5 years in prison followed by five years of post-release supervision.

The charges stem from a November 29 incident where Diaz shot a victim, causing serious injuries. An investigation revealed Williams-McIntyre transported the handgun from Pennsylvania and handed it to Diaz, who fired the shot through a vehicle window.
