The Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel has donated $20,000 to the Schuyler Health Foundation from its annual Ice Bar event. The three-day event, also known as the Fire & Ice Celebration, took place in late January.
David Hart, CEO and President of Hart Hotels, highlighted that the Ice Bar event has raised $240,000 for charity since it began in 2012. Initially, the funds went to the Red Cross, but recent donations have been directed to the Schuyler Health Foundation. This foundation supports Schuyler Hospital and the Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility.
The Schuyler Health Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing financial aid to these local healthcare institutions.
