Seneca Falls attempted murder case heads toward trial

The case against Jocolby Wallace, a Rochester man accused of a near-fatal stabbing, is advancing to trial. Wallace faces charges of attempted murder, assault, burglary, and criminal possession of a weapon from an incident in December 2023.


According to The Finger Lakes Times pretrial motions were argued Wednesday in Seneca County Court. Wallace is accused of breaking into a residence on Fall Street and stabbing a woman multiple times in the head and neck.

A pretrial hearing is set for June 13, with a trial likely in September or November.
