Seneca County jail inmate faces felony charges for violating court order

An inmate at the Seneca County Jail faces felony charges after an investigation involving a court order that was violated.


On June 5 Seneca County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested Michael R. Mclean, 44, an inmate at the Seneca County Jail. Mclean faces two counts of Criminal Contempt in the first degree and two counts of Aggravated Family Offense.

The charges are based on an investigation that revealed Mclean allegedly violated an order of protection by contacting a protected party multiple times.

He was arraigned at Centralized Arraignment Court and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Romulus Court at a later date.
