Police announced charges against a Geneva man following a violent incident on June 2.
Bernell Evans, 53, was arrested for second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal mischief, and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon after a crime-in-progress investigation.
According to police, Evans threatened a victim with a knife and stabbed the victim’s car tire causing damage. Police added that he had a prior conviction and was in possession of the knife when arrested.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
