Rochester man arrested on felony drug charges after state police investigation

This week NYSP’s Gun Involved Violence Elimination (GIVE) Unit arrested Markese Bellamy, 23, during a traffic stop on Weaver Street.


Bellamy was found with 263 grams of cocaine, 32 grams of fentanyl, and over $10,000 in cash. He faces multiple charges, including Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st degree (A Felony), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree (B Felony), Obstructing Governmental Administration (A Misdemeanor), and two counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia (A Misdemeanor).

Bellamy was taken to Monroe County Jail and is awaiting arraignment on June 4, 2024.
