Seneca Falls is set to launch “Summer Thursdays,” a new initiative aimed at boosting community engagement, supporting local businesses, and providing fun activities for residents and visitors. Starting June 6, the events will take place every Thursday from June through August, centered around the existing Music in the Park Series.

Andy Olden, Executive Director of the Seneca Museum of Waterways and Industry, expressed enthusiasm for the initiative. “In addition to the free music, there will be food trucks, a local restaurant food runner service, and free children’s activities,” he said.

Christine VanDusen, owner of Blush by CVD Designs, highlighted the collaborative spirit of the effort. “There is a new wave of collaboration, and as a downtown business owner, I am excited to work together to engage our community members in a fun and creative way,” she said.

The Bonafiglia Family Foundation, a supporter of the initiative, aims to revitalize downtown Seneca Falls through events like Summer Thursdays. The schedule includes shopping from 3-6 p.m., Music in the Park from 6-8 p.m., and late-night snacks and drink specials at local restaurants and bars from 8-10 p.m.
