Seneca Falls man violates court order, gets arrested for contempt

Seneca Falls police arrested a local man following a suspicious activity investigation.

The Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Joshua E. Dyson, 37, early on June 4 after responding to a report of suspicious activity at a local residence.


Dyson was found inside the home, violating a stay-away order of protection against him.

Dyson was charged with one count of criminal contempt in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor. He was processed and taken to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.

Dyson is expected to appear in Town of Seneca Falls Court to face the charges.
