The Livingston County Health Department and New York State Citizen Preparedness Corps are hosting a free emergency preparedness training for residents on June 15 at 10 a.m. The event will be held at the Livingston County Department of Social Services conference center, 1 Murray Hill Drive.
The training will teach locals how to prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies. Topics include making a family emergency plan and gathering essential supplies. Andrew Brodell, Director of Livingston County Emergency Management, encourages families to attend to help reduce chaos during emergencies.
