UR Medicine Thompson Health will hold an information session for those interested in becoming certified nursing assistants (CNAs) on Tuesday, June 11, at 3 p.m. The session will take place at the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center, 350 Parrish Street.
Thompson Health offers a five-week CNA training course at no cost, paying participants during their training. Graduates are guaranteed a CNA position at the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center, which holds a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. New CNAs must commit to at least one year of employment and can benefit from tuition reimbursement and promotional opportunities.
