Aaron Judge crushed his Major League-leading 21st home run of the season as the New York Yankees (41-19) defeated the San Francisco Giants (29-30), 7-3, on Saturday night at Oracle Park and have won 15 of their first 19 series for just the sixth time in franchise history.

Judge blasted a 464-foot two-run shot in the first inning to give the Yankees an early lead and never looked back despite the Giants making it a one-run game in the fifth.

Alex Verdugo went 2-for-4 with an RBI single and an RBI triple. Giancarlo Stanton belted his 14th long ball of the season while Juan Soto added a sacrifice fly.

Cody Poteet made his second start as a Yankee and tossed five innings of three-run ball while striking out six. Ian Hamilton, Caleb Ferguson, Tommy Kahnle, and Clay Holmes each fired scoreless innings.

Box Score

The Yankees wrap up their nine-game West Coast trip on Sunday at 4:05 as they try to complete the three-game sweep with Nestor Cortes on the mound.
