Aaron Judge recorded his 35th career multi-homer game as the New York Yankees (40-19) picked up a 6-2 victory over the San Francisco Giants (29-29) on Friday night in the series opener at Oracle Park.

Judge, who took over the league lead with 20 home runs, crushed a three-run shot in the third inning to give the Yankees the lead and then cranked a solo homer in the sixth to extend the lead.

Marcus Stroman surrendered two runs on six hits over 7.1 innings. Luke Weaver recorded the final five outs of the contest.

Gleyber Torres and Anthony Rizzo scored runs on a passed ball.
