Scott Osborn, President and Co-owner of Fox Run Vineyards in New York’s Finger Lakes wine region, has been elected as the new Board Chair of WineAmerica, the National Association of American Wineries.

The election took place on May 8 during WineAmerica’s annual conference in Washington, where members met with legislators to discuss the organization’s priorities. Osborn has served as Vice Chair for the past two years, Treasurer for two years before that, and has been a Board member since 2018.

“We are delighted that Scott will serve as the Chair of our Board for the next two years,” said Jim Trezise, WineAmerica’s President. “His experience and active involvement in various associations will greatly benefit our organization.”

WineAmerica, which represents winery and association members from 46 states, focuses on federal public policy to support the American wine industry. The Washington office is led by Executive Vice President Michael Kaiser and Vice President Tara Good.

Osborn expressed his gratitude, stating, “I feel privileged that my colleagues have entrusted me with this responsibility and honor. WineAmerica has grown into a highly respected national organization, and our recent DC meetings showed how effective it has become.”
