On May 27, deputies from the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested Garrett S. Ragusa, 29, of Thurston following a domestic incident.
Ragusa is accused of choking and unlawfully restraining another person, as well as damaging their property.
Ragusa, who has a prior family offense conviction within the last five years, was charged with Aggravated Family Offense, Unlawful Imprisonment in the First Degree, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, and Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree.
He was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Court and held without bail.
