The New York Mets (22-30) trailed by two entering the bottom of the ninth inning on Sunday afternoon at Citi Field but scored three straight and won 4-3 on Omar Narváez’s walk-off single to snap a five-game skid and avoid being swept by the San Francisco Giants (27-27).

Harrison Bader delivered a two-run, game-tying double before Narváez provided the game-winner. Bader also drove in the Mets’ first run of the game in the second inning with an RBI single.

Sean Manaea threw five innings of two-run ball while striking out six. Adrian Houser picked up the win in relief after recording the final 12 outs of the contest.

The Mets will continue their homestand on Monday when they welcome the Los Angeles Dodgers to town for a three-game series. The first pitch is slated for 4:10 p.m.
