Aaron Judge homered for a fourth straight game, and Marcus Stroman tossed six shutout innings as the New York Yankees clinched another series win and improved to a season-high 20 games over .500 with a 4-1 victory over the San Diego Padres on Saturday night at Petco Park.

New York (37-17) jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead in the first inning on Judge’s 17th home run of the season. The Yankees added to the lead in the fourth on Anthony Rizzo’s RBI single and Gleyber Torres’ sacrifice fly, and the bullpen closed it out.

Luke Weaver surrendered the only run in the eighth as Fernando Tatis Jr. went deep to straightaway center.

Box Score

The Yankees will try to complete the three-game sweep of the Padres on Sunday at 4:10 p.m. Clarke Schmidt will take the ball.
