It just keeps getting worse for the New York Mets. On Saturday afternoon, Edwin Díaz blew his fourth save of the season, and the Mets lost 7-2 to the San Francisco Giants in 10 innings.

With the loss, New York suffered its fifth straight loss and fell to 21-30 on the season.

Díaz gave up a leadoff single in the top of the ninth, allowed a stolen base, and a game-tying RBI single.

In the top of the 10th, Sean Reid-Foley surrendered five unearned runs, and the Mets failed to score in the home half of the inning.

Starling Marte and Brett Baty hit solo home runs in the loss, while Luis Severino tossed seven innings of one-run ball.
