The Cayuga Lake Wine Trail is inviting dog lovers and wine enthusiasts to “Wag Your Tail Along the Trail,” a month-long event from June 1 to June 30. The celebration welcomes dogs and their human companions for treats, activities, and a chance to win prizes.
Each winery along the trail will provide biscuits for dogs and a scavenger hunt for their owners, who can collect stamps by visiting wineries, participating in activities, and donating to local shelters. The grand prize includes items from local businesses such as Auburn Public Theatre and Cayuga Lake Boat Rentals.
Three wineries will serve as donation stations for local animal shelters: Beverly Animal Shelter, Fetch a Friend Rescue, and Susie Q Dog Rescue.
