Syracuse women’s lacrosse falls to Boston College in NCAA semifinals

The No. 3 Syracuse women’s lacrosse team had their season end on Friday night at WakeMed Soccer Park with a 10-7 loss to No. 2 Boston College in the NCAA semifinals.

With 8:56 left on the clock, the Orange cut the deficit to two and had a few chances to score in the closing minutes of the competition but were unable to convert. 

Natalie Smith led Syracuse in points with three on two goals and one assist. Emma Ward contributed two goals, and Olivia Adamson produced one goal and one assist to round out the Orange performers with multiple points in the outing.

Boston College will face Northwestern on Sunday in the National Championship.
