Livingston County’s Al Lorenz Park is set to host the Third Annual Al Lorenz Park Family Fest on June 1, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The free event will offer a variety of activities for all ages, including a youth fishing derby, a 1K family fun run, an exotic reptile and amphibian show, live music, games, and more.

County Administrator Ian M. Coyle invited everyone in Livingston County to enjoy the park’s natural beauty and thanked the volunteers and staff for organizing the event. The festivities kick off at 9 a.m. with a catch-and-release youth fishing derby, followed by a classic car cruise-in, emergency vehicle display, and a 1K family fun run at 10:30 a.m. At noon, Prehistoric World will present a live exotic animal show.

Parking is available at the top of Murray Hill across from the County’s Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation and near Buildings one and two on the Murray Hill Campus, with a shuttle service running every 15 minutes. The event will take place rain or shine. Early arrivals can receive a free Family Fest-themed tote bag while supplies last. For more details and pre-registration, visit Family Fest registration.
