The Mega Millions jackpot will roll over to Friday, May 24, after no players matched all six numbers during Tuesday’s $421 million drawing. The jackpot will now increase to an estimated $453 million, with a cash value of $211.3 million.

Tuesday’s winning numbers were 2-5-8-28-69, with a gold Mega Ball of 14 and a Megaplier of 2x. The jackpot reset after a New Jersey player won the $1.13 billion drawing on March 26, the fifth largest in the game’s history.

The Mega Millions jackpot has exceeded $1 billion six times, with the odds of winning reported as 1 in 302.5 million. The largest U.S. lottery jackpot was a $2.04 billion Powerball won in California on November 7, 2023. The jackpots continue to increase until a ticket matches all six numbers drawn.
