The New York Yankees (33-15) completed a three-game sweep of the Chicago White Sox (14-33) and extended their winning streak to seven games with a 7-2 victory on Sunday afternoon at Yankee Stadium.

New York fell behind 2-0 but scored seven unanswered. Jose Trevino had a game-tying two-run single, and Jon Berti smacked his first home run as a Yankee, a go-ahead three-run shot. The Yankees added to the lead on Aaron Judge’s two-run homer.

Carlos Rodón turned in another quality outing, allowing a pair of runs over six innings while striking out six. Michael Tonkin recorded seven outs before Clay Holmes got the final two.

Box Score

The Yankees will continue their homestand on Monday at 7:05 p.m. when they begin a four-game series with the Seattle Mariners.
