The New York Mets offense (20-24) was nowhere to be found in an 8-0 road loss to the Miami Marlins (14-32) on Friday night.

New York managed six hits, all of which were singles while going 0-for-3 with runners in scoring position, leaving seven on base.

Christian Scott surrendered four runs in four innings in his third Major League start. The bullpen struggled, as well as Josh Walker and Grant Hartwig both allowed two runs.

Box Score

The Mets will try to bounce back on Saturday at 4:10 p.m. with Luis Severino on the mound.
