Syracuse women’s lacrosse rolls past Yale to advance to Final Four

Emma Tyrell had seven goals and two assists and Syracuse (16-5) never trailed in a 19-9 victory against Yale (17-3) in the NCAA Quarterfinals on Thursday at the JMA Wireless Dome.

Emma Ward had three goals and four assists and Olivia Adamson also found the net three times. Yale’s Jenna Collignon and Karina Herrera each scored three times for the visitors.

With the victory, Syracuse advanced to its 10th NCAA Final Four. The Orange will take on the winner of Thursday evening’s Boston College and Michigan matchup.
