The Village of Newark announced that Steven Orlopp has joined the Department of Public Works as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Previously, Orlopp worked at Sanford Industrial Contractors in Manchester as a truck driver and equipment operator. He holds a Class A commercial driver’s license and is experienced in operating, inspecting, and maintaining various pieces of equipment used by the DPW. Orlopp resides in Clifton Springs.
Mayor Jonathan Taylor expressed enthusiasm about the new addition, stating, “Steven brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team. Having someone with Steven’s talents working for our Department of Public Works will be a benefit to our community in many ways.” He warmly welcomed Orlopp to the Village team.
Orlopp’s extensive background and skills are expected to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Newark’s Public Works operations, contributing to better service for the community.
