Livingston County is celebrating National Travel and Tourism Week from May 19-25 recognizing the critical role the travel industry plays in economic growth. The county has been enhancing its tourism efforts since partnering with Livingston County Economic Development in March 2021, following a comprehensive destination assessment by Roger Brooks.

Kelly Burns, Director of Livingston County Tourism, highlighted the week’s importance, stating, “National Travel and Tourism Week provides us with an opportunity to highlight Livingston County’s distinctive attractions and position our region as a premier destination for outdoor recreation and travel.” Visit LivCo released its Livingston County Summer Travel Guide, featuring local events, restaurants, and activities.

The U.S. travel industry significantly impacts economic vitality, contributing $2.8 trillion in 2023 and supporting over 15 million jobs. Livingston County’s initiatives aim to foster growth and prosperity for residents and businesses. For more information, visit visitlivco.com.
