On May 15 the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division arrested Moregan Persails, 28, for Criminal Contempt in the second degree and Aggravated Family Offense.
These charges arose from an investigation revealing that Persails, while incarcerated at Cayuga County Jail, contacted a protected individual in violation of a full stay-away Order of Protection.
Persails was arraigned at the Centralized Arraignment Court and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Sennett Court at a later date.
