Yates County seeking corrections officers and 911 dispatchers

The Yates County Sheriff’s Office is actively recruiting corrections officers and 911 dispatchers. The office has announced opportunities for qualified men and women to join their team with competitive compensation packages and paid training.

For those interested in corrections, the Sheriff’s Office offers positions with academy training and a positive work environment. The training and evaluation exam for these positions will open on July 1, 2024.


The Sheriff’s Office is also looking for E911 dispatchers to manage calls and dispatch services for law enforcement, fire, and EMS agencies in Yates County. Motivated individuals with an interest in public service are encouraged to apply.
