Yankees top Astros for fifth straight win

The New York Yankees (25-13) extended their win streak to five games with a 9-4 victory over the Houston Astros (12-24) on Wednesday night at Yankee Stadium.

Juan Soto collected three hits in five at-bats and five RBI, including a 440-foot two-run shot in the first inning. Aaron Judge homered and had a two-run double as part of a three-hit night, while Giancarlo Stanton also went deep.

Carlos Rodón surrendered two runs on seven hits over 6.1 innings while striking out seven. Victor González and Ian Hamilton each allowed a run.
