Seneca Falls police say a local woman was taken into custody after an investigation into a case of credit card theft.

Janean F. Kryzak-Steiner, 47, from Seneca Falls was arrested by police on Sunday at 12:44 p.m. The arrest followed an investigation into a credit card theft reported on March 13 where Kryzak-Steiner was identified as the suspect.

Authorities allege that Kryzak-Steiner stole a credit card from another resident of Seneca Falls and subsequently used it for various purchases at local stores and withdrawals from ATMs. She faces charges of Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, a felony, and Theft of Services, a misdemeanor.

Following her processing, Kryzak-Steiner was released with an order to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court at a later date to answer to the charges.
