A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of a local man in the Town of Macedon, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reported. Zachary Perez, 27, was pulled over by deputies who observed him committing multiple traffic violations.

During the stop, it was determined that Perez was driving under the influence of alcohol. He was taken to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for further evaluation where a chemical test revealed a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.16%, double the legal limit.

Perez was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Macedon Town Court on May 21 at 11:00 AM.
