The Professional Women of the Finger Lakes (PWFL), serving Ontario County and the broader Finger Lakes region, has announced the nominees for its 2024 Women of Distinction Awards. The awards ceremony is set to take place on May 22 at Ravenwood Golf Club in Victor, NY, recognizing achievements in various categories including Professional Achievement, Entrepreneurial, Volunteer Service, and Women Helping Women.

Nominees for the prestigious awards include leaders such as Tracy DelloStritto from the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and Kim Vakiener, owner of Kix on Main, among others. These women have been selected for their significant contributions to their professions and communities through innovation, leadership, and service.

The event, also serving as a major fundraiser for the PWFL, will support their scholarship program, which annually awards multiple scholarships ranging from $500 to $2000 to women. This initiative has provided over $100,000 in scholarships in the past fifteen years, aiming to foster educational opportunities and professional growth for women in the region.
