Carlos Rodón allowed all seven runs (six earned) in four innings, and New York’s offense went 0-for-6 with runners in scoring position, leaving seven runners on base.

Anthony Rizzo drove in the first run with a two-out RBI single in the third. Gleyber Torres snapped a 53-game homeless streak with a solo shot in the sixth.

Ron Marinaccio and Michael Tonkin combined for four scoreless after Rodón left the game.
