Driver in fatal hit-and-run pleads guilty in Webster

Ryan LaDuca pleaded guilty on Wednesday to charges stemming from a fatal hit-and-run incident that occurred last year. LaDuca admitted to leaving the scene and tampering with evidence after fatally striking 57-year-old Pamela Rubenstein, who was biking on Klem Road in Webster on August 22, 2023.


Rubenstein succumbed to her injuries two days following the accident, police confirmed. The incident sparked a significant investigation leading to LaDuca’s arrest and subsequent guilty plea.

LaDuca is now set to face sentencing on July 17, concluding a case that has brought attention to road safety and legal accountability in the community. The plea marks a significant development in ensuring justice for the victim’s family.
