The Mega Millions jackpot has escalated to an estimated $284 million for the upcoming Friday drawing on May 3, following a draw on April 30 where no participants matched all six winning numbers. The cash value for the next jackpot stands at approximately $127.6 million. The numbers drawn on Tuesday were 10, 18, 27, 37, 61, with a Gold Ball number of 5 and a Megaplier of 3x.

This increase comes after the jackpot reset following a win in New Jersey for $1.13 billion on March 26, marking it as the fifth largest in Mega Millions history and the eighth largest in U.S. lottery history. Previously, the jackpot had reset multiple times in January 2023, including a notable $1.35 billion win in Maine.

The Mega Millions jackpot has surpassed the billion-dollar mark six times so far. Each game’s jackpot grows until a ticket matches all numbers, including the special “gold ball.” The odds of winning the Mega Millions are set at 1 in 302.5 million, maintaining the excitement and anticipation for lottery enthusiasts nationwide.
