Authorities in Seneca County say a local man was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated after a vehicle was found in a ditch.
Seneca County Sheriff Tim Thompson reports that on April 27 a little before 1 a.m. deputies arrested Arthur J Cowan, age 75, of Romulus for DWI.
The arrest stems after a deputy on patrol came across a vehicle in a ditch.
Deputies located Cowan behind the wheel with the vehicle running. After a subsequent investigation on scene Cowan was placed into custody for DWI and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for processing.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
