Despite the passage of nearly three decades, the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office remains dedicated to solving this mystery. Dawson, who was 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighed 185 pounds, had brown hair and blue eyes. Officials are urging anyone familiar with Dawson’s life, including his daily habits, employment history, and social circle, to come forward.

The Sheriff’s Office is appealing to the public for any information, no matter how insignificant it might seem. Detective Blanchard can be reached at 315-253-3902. Anonymous tips can also be submitted online at the Cayuga County Sheriff’s website.
