  • Staff Report

On the evening of April 28, Jonathan H. Peck, a 27-year-old resident of Lyons, New York, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated (DWI) and failing to keep right. The arrest occurred after Yates County Sheriff’s Deputies pulled him over on Guyanoga Road in the Town of Jerusalem for a traffic infraction.

During the stop, which took place at around 6:03 p.m., Peck was subjected to a series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Following the assessment, he was taken for a chemical test to further evaluate his condition.

Peck was subsequently released on appearance tickets and is scheduled to respond to the charges at a later date in the Town of Jerusalem court. Authorities mentioned that additional charges could be pending based on the results of the chemical test.
