  • Staff Report

On Monday, a 54-year-old man from Seneca Falls was arrested following a shoplifting incident at a local Walmart. The Seneca Falls Police Department responded to the store at 11:50 a.m. after Woodrow Edwards was caught leaving without paying for merchandise.

Investigations revealed that Edwards, who had previously been banned from the store, had unlawfully taken items. As a result, he faces charges of petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor, and third-degree burglary, a class D felony.

Due to his history of felony convictions, Edwards was immediately processed and taken to Seneca County Jail for arraignment.
