Syracuse women’s lacrosse cruises past Virginia to advance to ACC Championship

The No. 4 Syracuse women’s lacrosse team cruised past No. 6 Virginia, 19-4, in the ACC Tournament semifinals on Friday night.

Olivia Adamson scored four goals to lead the Orange’s offense. Natalie Smith, Emma Tyrrell, and Emma Ward tallied three goals each. Maddy Baxter netted two, while Emma Muchnick, Gracie Britton, Joely Caramelli, and Savannah Sweitzer chipped in one apiece.

Syracuse will face the winner of Notre Dame and Boston College in the ACC Championship on Sunday, April 28, at noon.
